Daria P. Salusbury is Founder and CEO of Salusbury & Co. She advises leading international and national developers and architects on development, branding, and marketing to help bring their properties to market efficiently and effectively in the world’s most challenging markets. She has a 30+ year track record of success, creating more than $17 billion in luxury real estate developments to market, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate. She has worked as both a developer and broker in major cities across the U.S., including New York City, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Prior to founding her firm, she spent 25 years at The Related Companies where she served as Senior Vice President and head of the luxury rental division consisting of more than 10,000 units nationwide. She advised on the development and design of the company’s largest luxury residential developments and managed the company’s national leasing team. She was integral in the successful development of many of Related’s most ambitious projects included Abington House, MiMA and 456 Washington Street. Under her leadership, Related’s developments saw some of the highest prices per square footage in the nation. Prior to joining Related, she served as Senior Vice President of Sales at the real estate development firm, Gilbert Charles Beylen, where she oversaw the development of several condominium projects in Manhattan.
Ms. Salusbury first entry into real estate was in Boston, where she sold premiere condominiums and coops in the Back Bay and on Beacon Hill.
Ms. Salusbury has been featured in The New York Times, Crain’s New York Business, Forbes, The New York Observer and The Real Deal. She serves on the Real Estate Advisory Board of her alma mater, Temple University. Ms Salusbury is a member of REBNY and serves on the Arbitration Board and heads the sponsorship committee at CREW NY.
She resides in New York City’s Upper West Side and Millbrook, NY, where she can be found riding or shooting sporting clays in her spare time with her Chesapeake Bay retriever Maggie.
